Formerly the Plainfield Area Humane Society, we’re now Hope4Paws Humane Society — a name that reflects our promise to bring hope, healing, and homes to animals in need.
With every donation, volunteer hour, and adoption, you help us rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome more pets who deserve a second chance.
We proudly serve the communities of Berkeley Heights, Springfield, North Plainfield, South Plainfield, Scotch Plains, and Bound Brook, New Jersey — and our mission remains simple yet powerful:

Twigs Needs Your Help
Twigs is a happy, goofy pup who loves treats, squeaky toys, and spending time with people. While he may move a little differently than other dogs due to mobility challenges, his joyful spirit shines through every day. After x-rays showed no abnormalities, veterinarians recommended further evaluation by a neurological specialist to determine the cause of his wobbly gait and difficulty getting around. A favorite among volunteers, Twigs deserves the best possible care to help him live his fullest life. Your generous donation will help fund the specialized testing and treatment he needs.
